The program is facilitated by provisionally registered psychologists from the UC Psychology Clinic, under the supervision of qualified clinical supervisors.
The Cool Little Kids program is designed for parents of young children (typically aged 3 to 7 years) who are shy, withdrawn, or otherwise at risk of developing an emotional disorder in the future.

Cool Little Kids is a group parent program run over six sessions. The first four sessions occur weekly, before shifting to fortnightly for the last two sessions. Each 90-minute session involves participation by parents/guardians and focuses on teaching practical skills and strategies to reduce anxiety.
